Project Overview
At TTD Security Systems, we've been working closely with the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center for quite some time, focusing on keeping their property and guests secure. Back in 2017, we made a significant upgrade by swapping out the outdated Bosch head end with a more advanced American Dynamics Victor Video Edge system. This new system included nine video edge servers, a Victor application server, 10 Victor client PCs, and 34 network switches, among other essential components.
Our partnership has continued to grow as we've continuously enhanced surveillance capabilities at Gaylord Palms. In addition to replacing old analog cameras with newer, high-definition Illustra and Axis IP cameras, TTD worked closely with our partners at the resort to strategically install brand-new surveillance cameras in areas like the hotel, convention center, and lazy river, ensuring comprehensive coverage across the entire property.
Most recently, we collaborated to recable 1,402 guest rooms as part of a complete renovation and upgrade. Our team installed new data homeruns to each room, ran new data and telephone cabling, and built out four new IDFs across multiple floors. All cabling and connectors were Commscope brand, with every cable terminated and certified using the FLUKE DSX8000. With detailed port mapping and full documentation, this seamlessly integrated, comprehensive security infrastructure helped Gaylord Palms secure a reduction in their insurance premiums!
